The exam comprises three sections: Section I (Languages), Section II (Domain-Specific

Subjects), and Section III (General Test).

Section I – Language Test

This section checks how well a student understands and uses a language.

It includes:

Reading comprehension

Grammar

Vocabulary

Verbal ability

Languages Available:

English, Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Sanskrit, and many others.

This section mainly tests communication and understanding skills.

Section II – Domain Subjects

This section is based on the student’s stream and chosen subjects. The syllabus mainly

follows NCERT Class 12.

Subjects include:

Physics

Chemistry

Mathematics

Biology

Computer Science

Commerce Stream

Subjects include:

AccountancyBusiness Studies

Economics

Mathematics

Humanities / Arts Stream

Subjects include:

History

Political Science

Geography

Psychology

Sociology

Students choose subjects according to the college course they want to pursue.

Section III – General Test

This section tests aptitude and general awareness.

Topics include:

Current affairs

General knowledge

Logical reasoning

Quantitative aptitude

Mental ability

Data interpretation

Overall Pattern

Questions are mostly from Class 12 NCERT syllabus.

Students can choose multiple subjects.

Different universities may require different subject combinations.The exam is computer-based.
